Dansville- Rodney L. “Rod” Schneble age 61, passed away late Wednesday afternoon August 6, 2014, at the Vincent House in Wayland following a lengthy illness. He was born in Wellsville, NY on December 18, 1952, a son of the late Patricia Lane Schneble. He was a welding inspector for many years. Rod was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose # 1130 of Dansville. In his free time he enjoyed playing pool, softball, riding his bicycle, playing golf, the NY Yankees and spending time with family and friends at the camp Donna and Rod enjoyed so much at Skybrook. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna Schledorn Schneble, two daughters, Tracey (DJ) Butters and Samantha Schledorn, two brothers Doug and Dan Schneble both of Wellsville. His mother in-law Doris Schledorn; brothers and sisters in-law, Peter Schledorn, Thomas Schledorn, Martin (Lorna) Schledorn, Richard (Natalie) Schledorn, and Joseph (Sally) Schledorn, Betty (Tim) Henry and Barbara (Bill) Levee; two granddaughters, Emma Butters and Gracelyn Van Curen, and his dear aunt Shirley Lane. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Friends may call Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00pm at the Hindle Funeral Home Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville. Services will be held at the convenience of the family with the Rev. James W. Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery in Dansville.
