Penn Yan- Ivan McCord, age 70, passed away late Friday night October 3, 2014, at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva.
He was born in the Bronx, NY on January 18, 1944, a son of the late John and Ruby (McVey) McCord.
Ivan is survived by his sister, and all his friends and staff at the Jerusalem Ira Home in Geneva. Ivan made people smile whenever he was in the room and he enjoyed blankets.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc. 271 Main St. in Dansville. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, West Sparta. Online remembrances may be left at HindleFuneralHome.com.
