Obituary of Connie Nell Green

Penn Yan- Connie Nell Green age 76, passed Friday afternoon March 20, 2015, at the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan where she had been a resident for a number of years. She was born on September 3, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Muriel Rittenhouse Green. She was also predeceased by brother, Michael Green. Connie enjoyed music very much, she enjoyed listening to music, playing music and she attended the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. Connie worked for a number of years at the Maryland State Penitentiary where she was a hair dresser, later going back to school to become a prison guard. She is survived by her siblings, John Green, Annie Wyant, Mary Arber, James (Cynthia) Green, Jo an (Jerry) Daley, and Cheryl (Ron) Thompson. A memorial service will be held tomorrow Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Hindle Funeral Home, Inc., 271 Main St., Dansville, Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery West Sparta.
